West Shore Food Ministries was initiated via the New Cumberland Ministerium which consists of the 8 churches located within the New Cumberland borough.  In June 2008 the churches directly involved with this ministry expanded to include Red Land Baptist Church (a non-borough, New Cumberland church).

West Shore Food Ministries was founded in February 2008.

 

April 2008 was our first month for sign-ups and distribution of Angel Food.

 

June 2008: Distribution was changed to Red Land Baptist church to accomodate the ministry's large growth during the first two months of operation.

 

December 2008: Distribution is restructured by Angel Food ministries to only need one week between ordering and food distribution.

 

December 2008: West Shore Food Ministries Angel Food program serverd its 1,000 customer.

 

January 2009: Online ordering is made available for customers.
